Hi everyone! I'm David! I'm a Native English Teacher from the USA. I am a versatile and innovative ESL teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. I have taught adults and children in Asia for over 20 years. I am TESL/TEFL certified. I teach conversation, writing, phonics, speaking, listening, reading comprehension, English Tests (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, SAT, ISEE, MAP, CAT, etc.,) and fluency.
As a teacher, I inspire my students to flourish and reach their full potential. I try to create a warm and friendly environment so students can feel uninhibited and feel free to take chances. I will build students’ confidence by being patient and giving them lots of encouragement. The teaching environment is relaxed, friendly, and professional.
I am an experienced University and Corporate English Instructor. I have taught at Jhong Yuan Christian University in Taiwan for over 7 years. I have taught SAT, GEPT, TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, MAP, ISEE, and IGCSE as well as other exams. I have taught Corporate English for HTC, Quanta, Inotera, KYEC, Sampo, Nomura Holdings, AKAM CPA, etc.
I have also taught in Kindergarten, Elementary, and Secondary school for over 20 years. Currently, I am tutoring full-time in Hong Kong. I have taught here for over 10 years now.
